Viola Mueller

Viola Clara Wilhelmina Mueller was born August 10, 1909, in Yellow Bank Twp., Lac Qui Parle Co., to Henry and Emma (Pansch) Mueller. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Yellow Bank Twp. On July 08, 1923, Viola was confirmed by Rev. Theoder Thorma Hlerr. She attended school in Yellow Bank Twp graduating July 07, 1923.



As a young woman she moved to Madison, MN to seek employment as a cook. She then moved to Morris, MN and eventually to Minneapolis where she lived most of her adult life. She found employment at Maaco Electronics where she worked until her retirement. She then spent her retirement years in Odessa where she enjoyed cooking meals for her family, gardening, fishing, and crocheting.



Viola left us on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at the Ortonville Hospital in Ortonville, MN at the age of 95 years.



Survivors include her sister, Valeria (James) Tuggle of Greenbank, WA; a brother, Gordon (Delores) Mueller of Ortonville, MN; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Emma; and her brothers Delmar, Leonard, Marvin, and Emray.
