Stephanie Ashmore

Stephanie Ashmore, age 47, of Graceville, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her home.

There will be a celebration of life at the Reedy/Ashmore residence in Graceville on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville with a time of sharing beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Stephanie (Laufer) Ashmore was born on December 12, 1976, in Los Angeles, CA, to Henry and Shawn (Levy) Laufer. She attended school in California and graduated high school in 1994. 

From California, Stephanie journeyed through Colorado before finding her final home in Minnesota. She dedicated herself to both entrepreneurship and community service, leaving a lasting impact as a former business owner and gas station clerk. Through her hard work, Stephanie built connections with countless individuals, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and friendship.

Stephanie's greatest joy came from her family. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she reveled in her role as a grandmother and embraced the joys of dancing, cooking, and shopping. Stephanie's warm smile and generous spirit brought light and laughter to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Left to cherish Stephanie’s memory are her husband, Dennis Reedy; sons: Christopher (Riley) Ashmore; Gavin Barszcz, and Robert Laufer; daughters: Marisa Ashmore (AJ Torres), Alyssa Laufer, Cynthia Reedy, and Sabrina Reedy; 11 grandchildren: Wrenleigh Ashmore, Ari’ella Torres, Jettson Ashmore, Dakota Barszcez, Violet Barszcz, Leo-Liam Barraza, Gabriel Fizer, Eli Stidham, Penelope Torres, Anastasia Torres, and Petter Torres; mother, Shawn Laufer (Charlie Fleming); along with many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Laufer; son, Bryce Reedy; sister, Windy Strause; and her previous husband, Christopher Ashmore, Sr.
