Sharon Schoenrock

Sharon L. Schoenrock, age 78, of Ortonville, MN, died on September 8, 2019, at Ava’s House, Sanford Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Mound Cemetery in Ortonville.  Rev. Dennis O’Neill will officiate.

Sharon Liane Schoenrock was born on July 24, 1941, in Ortonville Township, Big Stone County, Minnesota.  She was the daughter of Mylo Rolland Schoenrock and Velda Evangeline (Burdick) Schoenrock.

Sharon grew up in Cambridge, MN, and in Ortonville, MN.  She loved cats and enjoyed working puzzles and writing.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Lonna (Roland) Nelson of Stillman Valley, IL; Larry (Jill) Schoenrock of Byron, IL; Richard (Sherry) Schoenrock of Rockford, IL; Ronald (Kathy) Schoenrock of Rockford, IL; and Michael Schoenrock of Rockford, IL; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: Mylo and Velda Schoenrock; grandparents: Wallace and Alta Burdick; sister, Nancy Kauzlarich; nephews: Brian Todd Schoenrock, and Michael Schoenrock II; niece, Valerie Marie Schoenrock; uncles: Don Simonitch, Gene Burdick, Dale (LaJean) Burdick, and Norm Davis; aunts: Genevieve Simonitch Davis, and Norma Jean Burdick.
