Sharol Severson, 84, of Clinton, MN, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Grace Home in Graceville, MN.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Pastor Jim Rach will officiate. Inurnment will be at Willow Creek Lutheran Cemetery near Dell Rapids, SD at a later date.

Sharol Jean Jenson was born on September 14, 1939, to Ole and Alice (Johnson) Jenson in Chester, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Sharol grew up on a farm and attended country school until the 8th grade. She later graduated from Dell Rapids high school in 1957. After her education she worked at National Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota until 1964.
Sharol married Conrad LeRoy Severson on June 13, 1964, at Willow Creek Lutheran Church in Dell Rapids, SD. They were blessed with three children: Kevin, Kent and Kimberly. In 1972 Conrad accepted a position at the Sanborn State Bank in Sanborn, Minnesota and the family remained there until 1983 when they relocated to Clinton, MN. Sharol was very active in the community and volunteered for numerous events. She loved to work on craft projects, she and Conrad loved to travel in their RV, going to craft shows and attending anything the grandchildren were involved in. They also took many trips to Norway to visit relatives. Above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharol is survived by her sons, Kevin (Val) Severson of Hutchinson, MN, and Kent Severson of Florida; daughter, Kimberly Lange of Long Beach, CA; six grandchildren: Nicholee Roesler of Fargo, ND; Jorddan Wadholm of Fargo, ND; Austin Rinke of Fargo, ND; Sydney Severson of Hutchinson, MN; Taylor Severson of Hutchinson, MN; and Kaitlyn Lange of Fargo, ND; four very special great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Sharol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Conrad; Conrad’s parents; sister, Sharleen Erickson; and brother-in-law, Howard (Dorothy) Severson.
