She is survived by her husband, Robert of Graceville, MN; seven nieces; 3 nephews; several step children; step grandchildren; and step great-grandchildren. Ruth E. Wiegman the daughter of George and Laura (Dennis) Kruger was born September 13, 1920 , on her families farm out of Twin Brooks, South Dakota. She received her education in the Grant County schools. Ruth was employed with Schad’s Bakery in Milbank, South Dakota for many years. Ruth was united in marriage to Dean Van Buren of Dumont, Minnesota on September 5, 1956, Dean passed away February 15, 1970. She continued to live on the farm until 1975. Ruth moved into Graceville, Minnesota and worked in the cafe until her marriage to Herbert Wilson Sr. On June 24, 1979. Herb passed away March 10, 1988. Ruth continued to live in Graceville and married Robert Wiegman January 31, 1992.
Ruth loved fishing and her flower garden enjoyed sharing them with all her family and friends. She was a good baker and cook , was known for her buns and cookies. She embroidered dishtowels and pillow cases. She enjoyed cats.
She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Graceville, Minnesota.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dean Van Buren, Herb Wilson; two brothers, Ernest and Earl Kruger; and one sister, Alice Marquardt.
