Ronald Wester

Ronald Ray Wester son of Sheldon and Janice (Ziesemer) was born August 3, 1958 in Alexandria, Minnesota. He grew up in Alexandria and attended Alexandria school. Ron moved to Shakopee and was employed at factories. Ron met Michelle Leger in Alexandria and was later united in marriage in Shakopee, MN.



They made their home in Ortonville, Minnesota in 1982 where Ron and Michelle raised three children. Ron worked at Ortonville Stone for more then 25 years. He was an active member of Ortonville Ambulance until 2004.



Ron enjoyed riding motorcycle, golfing, hunting, and fishing. The great love of his life were his beautiful granddaughters, Zahra and Madilynn, they brought “Bumpa” so much joy.



Ron was a strong and brave man, he fought until the end. Ron passed away December 23, 2008 at Rochester Methodist Hospital. He will be greatly missed by all his family land friends.



He is survived by his three loving children, Jamie (Scott) Colvin of Stillwater, MN, Leah Wester of Maple Grove, MN, Jake Wester of Fargo, N.D; 2 grandchildren, Zahra Fajri and Madilylnn Colvin; former wife, Michelle Wester of Elk River, MN; sisters, Karen Lundberg of Florida, Lee (Brian) Boyer of Ortonville, Linda (Xoai) Ho of Eagan, MN, Debra Rudolph; and many nieces and nephews.



He is preceded in death by parents; and brother-in-law, Sanford Rudolph.
