Rhoda Ida was born on January 12, 1916 to parents, Daniel and Matilda (Danielson) Kenworthy in Malung Township. Rhoda attended country school through eighth grade in Malung. Rhoda attended high school in Roseau where she graduated high school in 1933. After graduating, Rhoda did domestic work in the Roseau, MN area.



On September 17, 1938, Rhoda was united in marriage to Rudolph Johnson. The couple resided in Badger, MN, where Rhoda worked various jobs, including school cook, nurses? aide, and store clerk. In 1977, the couple relocated to Clinton, MN to be near their daughter and her family.



Rudolph and Rhoda were married over 50 years. Her husband and her family were always very special to her. She especially enjoyed the arrival of each new grandchild and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed following all of their activities.



In October of 2000, Rhoda moved to Clinton Providence Center and in March of this year, she moved to Grace Home in Graceville, MN.



On May 21, 2004, Rhoda passed away in Graceville, MN, reaching the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 9 days.



Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudolph; and two brothers, Wayne and Rueben.



Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Bill) Abbott of Clinton, MN; one brother, Jack Kenworthy of Roseau, MN; two sisters-in-law, Judy Ballard of Badger, MN and Ruth Kenworthy of Red Wing, MN; three grandchildren, Craig (Heather) Abbott of Savage, MN, Mark Abbott of Clinton, MN, and Lisa (Shaun) Siegel of Wheaton, MN; three great grandchildren, Tylor Siegel of Wheaton, MN, Grace Siegel of Wheaton, MN, and Jacob Abbott of Savage, MN; and several nieces and nephews.



The Moberg-Larson Funeral Home of Clinton, MN is in charge of the arrangements.
