Randall G. Young

On April 29, 2024, Randall Young went to be with his mom and dad and was welcomed with open arms. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Living Hope Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Ortonville, MN. A private family burial will take place at Mound Cemetery. 

Randall George Young was born on November 5, 1954, in Sioux Falls, SD, to Kenneth and Doris (Mack) Young.

When Randy was young, his parents moved the family to California for several years and then moved back to Ortonville, MN, where they purchased the Sinclair Gas Station on Main Street. Several years later, the family moved back to California and then once more, after Kenneth passed away, they moved back to Ortonville to stay.

Randy graduated from Ortonville High School in 1973. Throughout his life, he was always up for a good laugh and enjoyed many activities, especially taking his mom and aunt, Delores, fishing on Big Stone Lake. He said those were some of the best times of his life.

Randy owned and operated R-Graphix - a sign and Auto Detailing Company in Ortonville and, for a time, worked at Dave's Body Shop.

Randy is survived by two nieces: Angela and Shelby and their families; many cousins and their families; and a lot of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Kenneth and Doris; and his sister, Lynne.
