Ralph Donald was born on February 29, 1924 to parents Thomas and Maggie (Anderson) Schiesser in Fergus Falls, MN. He was baptized on April 3, 1924. Ralph attended the Fergus Falls country school.



On May 1, 1967, Ralph was united in marriage to Arlys Mueller in Webster, SD. To this union there were six children. Ralph worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation for many years.



Ralph always believed in family first, and always kept a strong bond between all. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his wife, Arlys, his children and grand children. He also liked to fish, work on cars, and go camping.



On April 21, 2004, Ralph passed away in his home, reaching the age of 80 years, 1 months, and 23 days. Ralph was a great man who was loved by all, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Ralph will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine in our lives.



Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Maggie (Anderson) Schiesser; and six brothers, Leslie, Ralph, Donald, Clarence, Harold, and Walter.



Survivors include Ralph's wife, Arlys; six children, Lori Jo Schiesser of Louisiana, Kandi (Steve) Devorak of Fairmount, SD, Jodi Schiesser (fiancA�A� David Eiynck) of Hudson, WI, Donn Schiesser of Junction City, KS, Brent (Sandy) Schiesser of Middleburg, FL, and Troy (Deanna) Schiesser of Willmar, MN; one sister, Ardis (Oscar) Fronning of Fergus Falls, MN; one brother, Charles (Shubh) of Schiesser of Austin, TX; two sisters-in-law, Luella Schiesser of Fergus Falls, MN, and Marion Schiesser of Fergus Falls, MN; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.



The Larson Funeral Home of Ortonville, MN is in charge of the arrangements.
