Patricia "Patty" Graham

Patricia "Patty" Graham, age 86, resident of Browns Valley, MN, died on May 8, 2019, at Browns Valley Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beardsley, MN. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Fr. Brian Oestreich will celebrate the Mass, and burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Beardsley.

Patricia A. (Sears) Graham was born on September 10, 1932, to Leland J. and Celia (Base) Sears in Browns Valley, MN. She attended school in Beardsley, MN, and graduated from Beardsley High School in 1950. She continued her education at an agriculture school in Morris, MN. Patty worked for many years at Dresch’s Grocery Store in Beardsley. She was united in marriage to Richard G. Graham on June 1, 1968, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Together the couple made their home on a farm in Traverse County where they raised livestock and grain. They retired and moved to Beardsley in 2005.

Patty loved life on the farm and truly enjoyed her cats. They were all outside cats, but eventually they found their way into the house and never left.

Patty is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Belle (Ronald) Sears; nieces: Dawn (Kenny) Meyer, and DeAnn (Blair Shearing) Sears; nephew, David Sears, Sr.; great-niece, Brittney Sears; and great-nephew, David Sears, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2007; sister, Theda (George) Honomichl; brothers: Leland and Ronald Sears; and Richard’s siblings.
