Norman Clark

Norman Kenneth Clark was born on July 8, 1951 in Graceville, MN to parents Roy and Vivian (Kellner) Clark. Norman was baptized at the Methodist Church in Beardsley. He attended school in Graceville, MN, graduating with the high school class of 1969. After high school, Norman was a member of the United States Air Force for three years where he was stationed in Thailand.

Upon completion of the Air Force, Norman attended two years of schooling at the Willmar Vo-Tech. On February 4, 1977, Norman was united in marriage to Norma Smithwick in New London, MN. To this union, they were blessed with four children. They moved to North Dakota for a couple years until moving to their farm site in rural Graceville where they still reside.

Norman worked as a welder and in the maintenance department at Ortonville Stone Company for 25 plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing, gardening, racing, and fixing up cars. He loved spending time with his family and most recently his two grandchildren.

Norman was diagnosed with cancer on March 13, 2009.

Norman passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in Fargo, ND. He had lived to reach the age of 59 years.

Norman is survived by his wife Norma of Graceville, MN; sons Kenneth Clark of Clinton, Keith (Amber) Clark of Sauk Centre; daughters Katherine Clark of Montevideo, Kristian (Finance Terenn Winston) Clark of Alexandria; grandchildren Alexis Clark and Karsonn Winston; mother Vivian Clark of Graceville; brothers: Frank Clark of Graceville, Raymond (Susan) Clark of Clinton, Alvah Clark of Graceville; sister Helen (Keven) Peterson of Cottonwood; nephew Mike Clark of Clinton; niece Amy (Dean) Vandekieft of Glenwood.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Clark.
