Nathan Arlyn Findlay was born on November 5, 1985, and went on to meet his Father, Jesus Christ, on April 13, 2025, while he was surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life for Nathan will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville, MN. A time of gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Nathan was known for always having a smile on his face. He was famous for giving people a hard time in the best possible way—his teasing was a badge of affection. If you were on the receiving end, you knew you were loved.
Nathan found his purpose and peace in farming. He could look at a piece of equipment and will it back to life with a few tools and a whole lot of know-how. Nathan also took great pride in his role within the Graceville Fire Department. The department will be showing their continued support for Nathan as his urn bearers. Though 39 years feels far too short, Nathan filled that time with family, friends, and the farm life he loved.
His nephew Lincoln was especially smitten with Uncle Nathan and how he could “do everything.” Nathan loved his sisters dearly and gained two brothers through them: Derrick and James. Nathan’s parents, Roger and Karrie, delighted in watching their son thrive and take on the responsibilities of the farm.
Nathan was deeply loved and will be missed by many. His parents: Roger and Karrie Findlay; his sisters: Candice (James) Hansen; and their children: Jackson, Lincoln, and Molli; and Stephanie (Derrick) Pillatzki; and their son, Theodore, will continue to honor his memory.
Be sure to look at the sky this planting and harvest season. When the sun is shining and the fields come to life, think of Nathan.
