Mrs. Myrtle M. Bohline died on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the Milbank Area Hospital/Avera Health. It was her wish that she be cremated. There will be no visitation and no services.
Myrtle was born on December 5, 1926, in Milbank, SD, to William and Goldie (Miller) Conner. She attended school in Milbank.
Myrtle was united in marriage to James E. Bohline on March 21, 1946, in Minneapolis, MN. Following marriage, the couple lived in Minneapolis; Long Beach, CA; San Bernardino, CA; and Gamaliel, AR. They moved to South Shore in September 1991. Her husband Jim died on November 7, 2002. Myrtle continued to live in South Shore until entering the Golden Living Center in Milbank.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore. Myrtle was a past president of the N.C.O. Wives' Club in California, the G.G.G. Club in Gamaliel, AR, and the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Bohline, Minneapolis, MN, and Charles Bohline, Fremont, NE; three grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Tiffany, and husband Leonard, of Benson, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Donna Cotton, and one brother, William H. "Bill" Conner.
