Michelle Marie Jorgenson was born on January 29, 1963, in Ortonville, MN to John T. Magee and Marian L. (Halbmaier) Magee. Michelle attended Ortonville High School and then went on to Willmar Vo-tech where she graduated with a degree in business. She worked at Kinney Shoe Store in Willmar for about a year and then returned to Ortonville where she worked with her parents at Korolls Shoe Store for about 3 years and in 1991 took over the business. Michelle was very active in the business community being involved in the Blanden Foundation and Ortonville Civic & Commerce.
On March 3, 2001, at Artichoke Baptist Church, Michelle was joined in marriage to Douglas Paul Jorgenson. Together they had three children from previous marriages. For most of their married life they resided in rural Graceville.
Michelle loved writing music, singing, traveling, fishing, camping, painting and had a special love for animals. Most of all she enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her children.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Doug; daughter, Megan Moen of Milbank, SD; son, Luke Moen of Aberdeen, SD; stepson, Zechary Jorgenson of Ortonville, MN; her parents, Tom and Marian Magee of Hutchinson, MN; brothers and sisters include: Tom Magee and wife Kathy of Canistota, SD; Mary Galanis-Oehler and husband Roger of Ortonville, MN; Theresa Magee of Eagan, MN; Kathy Bethke and husband Delvin of Stewart, MN; Mike Magee and wife Becky of Burnsville, MN and many nieces and nephews.
