Marlene "Molly" (Skoog) Lundin was born on December 11, 1934, in Graceville, MN, to Carl and Elizabeth (Flemming) Skoog. She grew up in the St. Paul, MN, area and graduated from Monroe High School. In 1952, Molly was united in marriage with Donald Henrichs and to this union, three children were born.
Molly later attended trade school in St. Paul earning her Cosmetology degree. She was a self-employed beautician for over 40 years. Molly started her career in St. Paul before moving to Clinton, MN, and concluding her career in Ortonville, MN. In fact, it was a bad haircut that introduced her to Earl Lundin. The two were inseparable and in 2006, they decided to tie the knot.
Earl introduced her to retirement and spending their winters in Arizona. Molly loved to play her tambourine and dance while Earl played his accordion. Molly was a beautiful and passionate dancer and will be remembered for her liveliness on the dance floor. In her earlier years and up to her passing, she enjoyed going to the movies and listening to her vinyl record collection. Molly appreciated her clothes, always taking very good care of them, and enjoyed matching up outfits. She was known for her excellent taste in clothes and how nice she always looked.
Molly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she was always putting her family first. She will be remembered for telling the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Molly was a proud member of the Gertje-Van Lith American Legion Post 229 Women's Auxiliary.
Molly is survived by her husband, Earl; children: Robin (Dave) Palm, Steven (Val) Henrichs, and Jami (Scott) Stallman; five grandchildren: Jessica (Matt) Sieverding, Jake Henrichs, Jordan Bohlman (Amy Thompson), Braden Bohlman, and Linsey Stallman; and five great-grandchildren: Ainzlee, Brooks, and Briggs Sieverding; Rosin Thompson; and Wesley Bohlman.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Elizabeth Skoog; one sister; and three brothers.
