Lucille (Cedarblade) Larson was born on April 11, 1925, in St. Paul, MN, to parents, Richard andEedith (Samuelson) Cedarblade. As a young girl, she was baptized and confirmed in the First Covenant Church in St. Paul. MN. Lucille attended school at the Minnehaha Academy in St. Paul, MN. Following her graduation, she stayed in St. Paul, MN, where she worked as a Bookkeeper.
On September 8, 1962, Lucille married Alan Larson at the First Covenant Church in St. Paul, MN. The couple made their home on a farm near Clinton, MN. The couple was blessed with two children, Jim and Sharon. Lucille and Alan farmed for a couple of years before they started Larson Movers Inc. in 1964.
In her spare time, Lucille enjoyed spending Wednesdays with the ladies quilting. She also liked sitting down and working on a crossword puzzle. Lucille treasured spending time with family and friends and looked forward to her monthly shopping trip to Alexandria, MN, with her daughter, Sharon, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
Lucille passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, reaching the age of 81 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alan; and a brother, Dick Cedarblade.
Lucille is survived by her son, Jim Larson of Clinton, MN; and daughter, Sharon (Dale) Hoefert of Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Cameron Larson and Wheeler Larson; two step-grandchildren, Stephanie Hoefert and Nicholas Hoefert; four step great-grandchildren; a niece Brenda Cedarblade-Wilson; as well as many extended family and friends.
