Lloyd Kermit was born on March 01, 1933 in Ortonville, MN to parents, Irving and Alice (Jones) Hegge. Lloyd attended school in Ortonville, MN. Lloyd worked at Cold Springs Quarry for many years. Later he owned and operated a garbage truck for the city of Ortonville with his life long buddy, Willie Reinke.
Lloyd loved animals and had many pets. Some of his favorites were the different marine friends that he shared his apartment with, the most interesting being his piranha, and crab. Lloyd also enjoyed horses from a very young age. He treasured all the trail rides that he was able to attend with his friends and family. Lloyd had a love for dogs as well and raised them for many years.
On September 30, 2004, Lloyd Hegge passed away at the Ortonville Hospital, reaching the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 29 days.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Irving Hegge, and one brother, Warren Hegge.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Phyllis Hegge of Ortonville, MN; one aunt, Fern Marohl of Ortonville, MN; an uncle, Charles Jones of Ortonville, MN; many nieces and nephews, and a life long buddy, Willie Reinke, of Ortonville, MN.
