Jeremiah Michael Green

Jeremiah Michael Green was born peacefully sleeping and gained his angel wings on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown, SD.

Private family services were held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Zion Community Church in Wilmot, SD. Burial was at the Wilmot City Cemetery. 

Jeremiah Michael Green was delivered on December 11, 2024, at 10:50 a.m., to Kailor and Abigail (Hulsebus) Green at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, South Dakota. He weighed 2.7 ounces and was 18 centimeters long. The short time he was with us was both precious and special. He was already so loved and will continue to be by so many.

Jeremiah was a part of our daily lives, from working with Mommy at the daycare to helping Daddy feed the hogs. He shared in the joy of harvesting and arranging flowers with Mommy and attending farmers’ markets and riding around the Green Farm on the gator, checking on the crops. Jeremiah also rode in the combine with Daddy, helping finish the corn harvest and hauling it to town. He went on many adventures during his time with us—like a road trip to Kansas, visiting Grandpa and Grandma Hulsebus, and riding in the tractor, combine, and semi during harvest.

Although your time with us was brief, Jeremiah, you brought us a lifetime of love. We know that when God calls us home, you will be waiting for us at Heaven’s gates. With arms stretched wide and a smile, you will say, “Welcome home, Mommy and Daddy.”

We love you so much, baby boy. We can’t wait to hold you in our arms again someday and run through the wildflowers with you.
