Jeff Redepenning

Jeffrey Donald Redepenning was born on Halloween, October 31, 1956, in Madison, MN, to parents, Edgar and Marlys (Seefeld) Redepenning. He was welcomed into this world by his twin brother, Jerry. As an infant, Jeff was baptized into the Lutheran Faith on November 22, 1956, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Walter Township by Rev. C.R.J. Witte. He was later confirmed in the same church on April 4, 1971, by Rev. H.D. Haak.
Jeff attended school in Bellingham, MN, and gradated from Bellingham High School in 1974. While in school, Jeff enjoyed many different activities especially wrestling. Following completion of high school. Jeff took various Technical Classes through work.
On July 14, 1979, Jeff married Robin Schultz at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville, MN. The couple made their home in Big Stone City, SD, where they welcomed home two daughters, Katrina and Alicia. Jeff worked for close to 27 years for Saputo in Big Stone City, SD, before working for Northern Lights Ethanol where he was currently employed.
Jeff enjoyed the simple things in life, from watching the wildlife that paraded by in his back yard to cruising the area roads on the motorcycle he purchased this past summer. He also treasured quiet time spent with family and friends on camping trips and also fishing area lakes. He loved his family dearly and cherished memories made with them and his granddaughter, Kylie. Jeff was known for all of his practical jokes that he played on those he loved and enjoyed the excitement and anticipation on waiting for them to try their hand on getting even with him. He was an avid bowler and bowled league for many years, earning numerous trophies.
Jeff passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, reaching the age of 50 years. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father, Edgar Redepenning.
Jeff will be remembered by his wife, Robin Redepenning of Big Stone City, SD; two daughters, Katrina Redepenning of Inver Grove Heights, MN; and Alicia Redepenning and FiancA�AC. Andy Lee of Ortonville, MN; one granddaughter, Kylie Hanson; his mother, Marlys Redepenning of Ortonville, MN; one brother, Jerry (Ruth) Redepenning of Ortonville, MN; one sister, Debra Redepenning of Madison, MN; brothers-in-law, Daniel Schultz of Eden Prairie, MN, David Schultz of Willmar, MN; John Schultz of Ortonville, MN; and Joel and LJ Schultz of Willmar, MN; sister-in-law, Leila (Don) Buse of Brandon, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
