Janis Folk

Larson Funeral Home of Ortonville announces the death of Janis Folk, age 74, of Ortonville. Janis passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Northridge Residence in Ortonville. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 5-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Larson Funeral Home in Ortonville. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Pastor Marlene Elmstrom will be officiating. Burial will be at the Ada Municipal Cemetery in Ada, MN.

Janis is survived by her daughters: Wanda (Mark) Kraemer of Monticello, MN, Kris (Tim) Poehler of Ada, MN, Terri Holtquist of Milbank, SD, Shannon (Larry) Millerbernd of Ortonville, MN and Melissa Ireland of Alexandria, VA; step-children: Anita (Eric) Anderson, Wayne (Bonae) Folk, Tony (Kim) Folk, all of Milbank, SD Lana (Daryl) Foss of Harker Heights, TX, and Gina (Tom) Porozinski of Park Rapids, MN; mother-in-law Louise Folk of Milbank, SD; 31 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
