Jackson Andrew Maas

Jackson Andrew Maas was born peacefully sleeping and gained his angel wings on July 28, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A private memorial service will be held at Living Word Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Pastor Melanie Reiners will officiate. 

Some only dream of angels, but we held one in our arms. We’ll now hold you in our hearts each and every day until we can hold you again.

Jackson is survived by his loving parents: Sarah Hill and Andrew Maas; his siblings: Eleanor and Grayson Maas; maternal grandparents: Mary and Roger Hill; paternal grandparents: Laurie and Scott Maas; aunt and uncle: Amanda and Nick Elms; aunt and uncle: Jenny and Caleb King; aunt and uncle: Amanda and Adam McMahon; and cousins: Kensington and Jonah King, and Alexander, Jason and Marcus McMahon; paternal great-grandparents: Joanne and Glenn Nelson, and Arlene Maas; and many others who loved Jackson very much.

Jackson was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents: Mary and Steven Berlinger, and Raymond and Aeda Hill; and paternal great-grandfather: Carl Maas.
