Irene Cavanagh

Irene Cavanagh, the daughter of Frank and Lucy (Smith) Depolder, was born August 21, 1907, in Graceville, MN. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Graceville and furthering her education, attended St. Mary's School for Nursing in St. Cloud, MN. She was united in marriage to Norbert Cavanagh, June 20, 1936, in Graceville, MN.
Norbert and Irene made their home in Chicago until Norbet's death in 1977, when Irene returned to Graceville, living in the Shamrock Apartments until 1998. She then went to live in the Grace Home until her death.
She was a member of the Graceville Hospital Auxillary, Graceville Auxillary, was the Historian for the church, and did volunteer work for the Graceville Hospital.
Irene enjoyed her flower garden, sewing (making many baptism cloths for baptisims ) loved shopping, and enjoyed all her coffee friends.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Norbert.
She is survived by distant cousins, and all her many friends in the community.
