Funeral services for Harry Molde, age 85, of Milbank, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008, at the Emanuel-Patterson Funeral Home in Milbank. Pastor Mike Doran of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Milbank will officiate. Harry died on Sunday, January 13, 2008, at his home. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour before services on Monday. Burial in the Milbank City Cemetery will be private.
Harry Fred Molde was born on April 26, 1922, near Flandreau in rural Moody County, SD. He attended country school through the eighth grade in Roberts County, SD.
He never married. He farmed with his parents in Roberts County before moving to a farm north of Milbank. Upon his mother's death, he and his father moved to Milbank. In addition to farming, Harry hauled coal.
He attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Milbank.
Survivors include his sister, Alice Wheeler and husband James, Sierra Vista, AZ, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Chris and Melvin Molde, and one sister, Hilda Moldrem.
