Gladys Irene Loff, age 93, of Clinton, MN died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Hill Top Care Center in Watkins, MN.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton, MN. Burial will be in the Clinton City Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church
Gladys Irene Loff, the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Pesheck) Thomson, was born July 19, 1917 in Wolverton, MN. She was baptized at home and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge, MN. Gladys spent her younger years residing on the family farm near Breckenridge.

Gladys was united in marriage to Maurice Loff September 3, 1936. From this union they were blessed with three children, Danielle, Leslie, and Lonnie. They spent their married life farming and Gladys worked at the Graceville Hospital and Clinton Good Samaritan Center for many years. In 1966 they purchased and operated Loff's Recreation in Clinton until Maurie's retirement in 1977. Gladys continued to work at the Clinton Good Samaritan Home until her retirement. Maurie and Gladys both enjoyed retired life together by traveling in their motor home to many places of interest in the United States. Maurice passed away May 20, 1999.

Gladys enjoyed cooking her famous fried chicken along with being a homemaker. She loved gardening, and was very proud of her flowers and garden. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton and was active with church activities. She always looked forward to spending the winter season in Florida with Lonnie and Dawn. Bingo was her game of choice when visiting her Florida friends.

Gladys passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins, MN. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle (friend Larry Zacharias) Comiskey, of Astor, FL, sons, Leslie (Maureen) Loff of Osseo, MN, and Lonnie (Dawn) Loff of Boca Raton, FL; 7 grandchildren; Charles Brown, Denise (Mike) Kadell, Leslie Jr. (Teena) Loff, Lynn (Dax) Boyle, Lewis Loff, Tony (Holly) Loff, Kelly (Amanda) Loff. 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Loraine Gehrig; brother, Leo (Lois) Thomson; and sister-in-law, Loraine Fagelberg.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Maurice; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
