Francis Nebben, age 69, of Clinton, MN, died on November 18, 2019, at his residence.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a Time of Sharing beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Beardsley Methodist Church.
Francis Glenn Nebben was born on September 5, 1950, in Browns Valley, MN, to Marvin and Mary (McDonald) Nebben. He attended school and graduated from Beardsley High School in 1968.
After high school, Francis moved to Texas. He owned his own trucking/parcel delivery business for a while and did some farming, but his real passion was ranching. He always said he was most happy breaking horses and working cattle and it didn’t matter if he was six miles or 60 miles from a blacktop highway.
Francis treasured his family and the time he spent with all of them. He had a large, blended family and he loved every one of them. Along with his long-time friend, Denise Kenny, Francis moved back to the Beardsley area in the 1990’s. On April 26, 2006, he and Denise were married. The two finally made their home on a farm outside of Clinton, MN, where Francis lived out his final days.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Nebben; his children: Ricky (Elizabeth) Nebben, Tina Meier (special friend, Brandon), Brandy (JD) Mazac, Candace Athey (special friend, Mike), and Lyndsey Nebben; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers: John (Corrine) Nebben and Pat (Linda) Nebben; sister, Kathy (Jesse) Stavick; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents; twin sons: Peter and Paul Nebben; daughter, Brenda Nebben; and brother, Brendan Nebben.
