Elizabeth Moberg

Funeral Services for Elizabeth "Beth" Moberg, age 94, of Graceville, will be on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville, MN. Father David Breu will be officiating. Visitation will be at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home ~ Moberg Chapel in Clinton on Sunday evening, July 29, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM prayer service. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Clinton City Cemetery in Clinton.

Elizabeth Agnes O'Hara was born August 7, 1917 in Bathgate, North Dakota to William J. and Rose (Harrington) O'Hara. She grew up in Pembina County and attended Hamilton High School, graduating in 1935. Following high school, Beth attended St. Joseph's in St. Paul, MN where she received her nursing degree. She returned to Pembina County to work. In September of 1941, Beth was united in marriage to Frank Moberg in Moorhead, MN. Following their marriage they moved to Clinton, MN. Beth continued to work as a nurse at the hospitals in Graceville, MN and Milbank, SD, retiring in 1980. Beth and Frank spent winters in Arizona for a time and in 2010 moved to Grace Village in Graceville.

Beth enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and most of all playing cards, especially Bridge. She was a very good cook, and liked making homemade pies and buns, even in her last years. She was a member of CCW and Holy Rosary Church in Graceville.

Beth is survived by her husband, Frank, of Graceville; three sons: John (Candy) of Sauk Center, MN; William "Bill" of Clinton; and Thomas (Sheila) of Galatin, TN; son-in-law, John VanLith of Milbank, SD; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Luella Trudel of Hallock, MN.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; six sisters; her daughter, JoAnne VanLith; and her daughter-in-law, Nita Moberg.
