Edward Enger

Mundwiler Larson Funeral Home announces the death of Edward "Eddie" Enger, age 59, of Ortonville. Eddie passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Northridge Residence in Ortonville. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Mundwiler Larson Funeral Home in Ortonville. Visitation will be ½ hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Pastor Richard Larson will be officiating, Pat Kunz will be providing music and burial will be at the Little Forks Church Cemetery in Hatton, ND at a later date.

Edward Charles Enger was born in Fargo, North Dakota to parents Rueben and Genevieve (Kohoutak) Enger. Eddie attended the Children's Harbor School in Moorhead, MN and also the Career Education Center in Audubon, MN. Eddie worked for several years at the Erie Jr. Restaurant in Detroit Lakes, MN.

He lived with his parents in Fargo, ND, Detroit Lakes, MN and Mesa, Arizona. Eddie was named "Outstanding Retarded Citizen" of the year by Governor Wendall Anderson.
In 2001, Eddie moved with his mother to Florida to live with the Callahan's. In 2007, Eddie moved back up to Minnesota where he resided at Fairway View and most recently, Northridge Residence.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents.

Eddie is survived by his dear friends and guardians: Michael and Rosanna Callahan of Tavares, FL.
