Delton Silberstein Sr

Delton D. Silberstein, Sr. peacefully passed away on November 13, 2013, at his daughter's home in Milbank. Delton was one month short of his 92nd birthday.

Delton Dale Silberstein Sr. was born December 14, 1921, in Iowa. He was the son of Fredrick Carl and Anna Christina (Behrens) Silberstein.

Delton was a WWII Veteran Navy. Throughout Delton's life he was a farmer, salesman, and in 1958 moved to Ortonville, MN and became an agent for State Farm Insurance Company. He retired in 2012.

Delton's memory will be cherished by his three daughters and their families: Kathryn (Don) Higgerson of Big Stone City, SD; Linda (Tim) Toner of Ortonville, MN; Keeta (Al) Pavlinac of Milbank, SD; eight grandchildren: Christy Calder, Chad Johnson, Tiffani Higgerson, Ben Toner, William Erwin, Albert Pavlinac, Samuel Silberstein, Rachel Silberstein; three great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his only son, Delton Jr.; his parents; five brothers and four sisters.

A celebration of Delton's life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank.
