Delores "Tooty" Eastman

Delores "Tooty" Eastman, age 82, of Graceville, MN, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Essentia Health - Grace Home.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Chapel in Graceville, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. Deb Hadley will officiate the service and inurnment will be at Graceville Consolidated Cemetery at a later date.

Delores Janice (Lureen) Eastman was born on January 11, 1940, in Browns Valley Township of Big Stone County, MN. She grew up in Browns Valley Township and graduated from Browns Valley High School.

Following high school, Delores was united in marriage with Franklin D. Kipp and the two made their home in Graceville, MN, where they started a family and raised five children. Franklin passed away unexpectedly in 1975.

Delores was united in marriage with Warren Eastman and together, they blended their families with nine wonderful children.

Never one to sit still, Delores was always working and worked hard to raise her family and even owned and operated her own business: Tooty’s Apparel. She worked for the corn factory and at Laske’s Grocery Store. Delores also cooked and catered for Carlson’s Corner and worked in the laundry department at the Graceville hospital.

In her leisure time, Delores was a member of the Bowling Ladies, Golf, Weight Watchers, and participated in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She loved to cook, canning, being in her flower gardens, and doing puzzles. Delores never turned down a game of cards or dice with her family and friends. Friends and family meant the world to Delores, and she loved having fun with her grandchildren and always took the opportunity to visit with neighbors and family.

Left to cherish Delores’s memory are her children: Sheryl (Pete) Kipp of Fort Lupton, CO; Brenda (Mike) Taffe of Graceville, MN; Duane Kipp of Graceville, MN; and Pamela (Randy) Schoon of Ortonville, MN; step-children: Mona (Tom) Berning of Willmar, MN; Lianne Chlarson of Kingman, AZ; Barb (JR) Witte of Beardsley, MN; and Doug (Sue) Eastman of Graceville, MN; son-in-law, Mark Reynolds of Graceville, MN; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters: Nancy Reedy of Graceville, MN; Marlene Ferguson of Groton, SD; Pat (Stanley) Rice of Aberdeen, SD; Sandy (Bob) Appel of Browns Valley, MN; along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are husbands: Franklin Kipp in 1975; and Warren Eastman in 2001; daughter, Jackie Reynolds; sons-in-law: Dale, Reese, and Chuck; parents, Otto and Barb Lureen; six sisters; one brother in infancy; and brother, Joe Lureen who recently passed in March 2022.
