Debora Bennett, age 60, of Odessa, died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Ortonville Area Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date.
Debora Lynn Bennett was born on February 4, 1956, in Los Angeles, CA, the adopted daughter of Ralph C. and Edna (Ayres) Tuner. She was united in marriage with Thomas Bennett on February 6, 2008, in Milbank, SD.
Debora was an over the road trucker and through her job was able to visit all of the continuous 48 states. She travelled over three million miles without any accidents! Debora was also the owner of the Dancing Bean in Ortonville and Down the Block Bar and Grill in Graceville. She loved horses and had the pleasure of being a horse handler at Bennett Bottom Stables for seven years.
Debora was a member of the Rosen Catholic Church, the ASPC, and the AMHR. She enjoyed cooking, horses, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Debora is survived by her husband, Thomas Bennett; daughters: Joline Norlund-Wimmer and Jessica (Greg) Vangsness; brothers: Raymond Maxwell and Alan Batham; sister, Denise (Floyd) Springer; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Edna Tuner; and brother, Donny Jacobson.
