Mundwiler Larson Funeral Home of Browns Valley announces the death of David Scott Thompson, age 23, of Wahpeton, North Dakota. David passed away on August 16, 2012 Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Mundwiler Larson Funeral Home in Browns Valley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

David Scott Thompson was born on January 11, 1989 to parents Brian Thompson and Tami Raw in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Beardsley, MN and graduated from CGB in 2007. He then went on to Minot, North Dakota and participated in the Job Corp for welding and construction. He came back to Browns Valley and worked with Ron Gettman in auto body for two years. He presently worked at WCCO Belting in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, demolition with cars, and "tinkering" with anything with an engine. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

David died August 16, 2012 near Wahpeton, North Dakota.

David is survived by his mother, Tami Raw of Browns Valley, MN; brother, Cody Hartwig of Browns Valley, MN; Special friend, Mandi Conzemius of Wahpeton, ND; sons, Colton Brian Thompson and Carson Charles Thompson of Wahpeton, ND; grandparents, Charles and Betty Sue Thompson of Oak Grove, MO.

David is preceded in death by his father, Brian Thompson; grandparents, Stanley and Helen Raw, and cousin Jennifer Johnson.
