Darin Anderson

Darin Anderson, 50, of Watertown, SD, and formerly of MN, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Avantara in Milbank, SD.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Darin Lee Anderson was born on March 7, 1974, in Graceville, MN, to Darrell and Carolyn (Pedersen) Anderson. He graduated from high school in 1992 and was known for his friendly personality and kind heart. Darin worked various jobs throughout his life, most notably at Midway Iron in St. Cloud, MN, and North Star Hanes in Watertown, SD. He was well-liked by his coworkers and formed many meaningful friendships wherever he went. He most recently lived in Watertown, SD, where his genuine spirit continued to touch the lives of those around him. Darin faced a long and courageous battle with cancer, showing incredible strength and resilience. 

He is survived by his father, Darrell (Doris) Anderson of Glenwood, MN; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Pedersen) Anderson, and sister, Kristine Anderson.
