Craig Hogan, 59, of Wilmot, SD, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Milbank Area Hospital in Milbank.

Craig's wishes were that there be no formal services.

Craig Allen Hogan was born on September 4, 1964, to Betty Boone in Seattle, Washington. At one years old Craig was adopted by his father, William “Bill” Hogan. The family resided in Juneau, Alaska. Craig graduated from Juneau Douglas High School in 1984. After his education he worked at Mike’s gas station before later owning and operating ERA Towing for numerous years. In 2006, Craig moved to Bend, Oregon where he worked for Bend Auto Wrecking and he also delivered newspapers. Craig was blessed with two children: Chevelle Hogan and Kaden Hogan. He met his fiancé, Deanna Kaiser while living in Bend. In 2016 Craig was diagnosed with cancer and his health forced him into early retirement. In 2022, Craig, Deanna, and Kaden moved to Wilmot, South Dakota where he enjoyed the slower pace the area brought.

Craig was a member of the Astro Car Club for numerous years. His entire life he loved cars, and had a passion for anything with a motor. You could always find him working on vehicles in the garage while listening to heavy metal music. He also enjoyed going to concerts and being outdoors.

Craig is survived by his fiancé, Deanna Kaiser of Wilmot, SD; his two children: Chevelle Hogan of Juneau, AK, and Kaden Hogan of Wilmot, SD; four step-stepsons: Frankie Morales of Tillamook, OR; Jose Morales of Portland, OR;, Llunas Morales of Lincoln City, OR; and Leonardo Morales of Portland, OR; and one granddaughter, Holly James Morales of Lincoln City, OR. He is preceded in death by his parents: Betty Boone and his adoptive father, William “Bill” Hogan, his maternal grandparents.
