Beryl Gloege-Arneson

Funeral services for Beryl Gloege will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Bellingham. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church beginning at 9:00 AM and will continue until the service. Burial will be in the Bellingham Cemetery.
Beryl Estella Cronen-Gloege Arneson was born on June 2, 1928 on a farm in Artichoke Township, Big Stone County to Boyd and Estella (Olson) Cronen. Beryl graduated from Odessa High School in May of 1946. After graduation, Beryl was employed at the JC Penny store in Ortonville, MN. She met Clayton Gloege of Bellingham, MN. They were married on July 28 of 1947 at First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville, MN. They made their home two miles north of Bellingham on a farm. During the early years of their marriage, Beryl was a housewife. As time passed, she worked at the canning factory in Ortonville, House of Quam Dress Shop of Madison and her last and favorite job was school bus driving. Beryl drove school bus for the Bellingham School District for almost 20 years. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing softball, gardening, playing bingo and traveling.
Beryl is survived by her daughter Sandra Gloege and husband Lynn Buri of Lakeville; son Michael and his wife Pat of Bellingham, MN, daughter Cozzette O'Neill of Apple Valley, MN; precious grandchildren: Jordan Buri of Apple Valley, MN, Joshua O'Neill of Bloomington, MN, Jacob O'Neill of Farmington, MN, Lee (Christie) Gloege of Bellingham, MN; K.C. (Kirsten) Gloege of Bellingham and the very special granddaughter Kalyn Gloege of Bellingham, MN; great-grandchildren: Lexi and Chole Gloege of Bellingham, MN; sisters: Donna (Marlus) Wohlers of Madison, WI and Della Elg of Comtrey, MN.
Beryl is preceded in death by her husbands, Clayton Gloege in October of 2010 and Mads Arneson in September on 1994; parents Boyd and Stella Cronen; brothers: James Cronen of Tacoma, WA, Conley, Lowell, and Buddy Cronen, all of Bend Oregon, and Robert Cronen of Clinton, MN and sister Jannett Wachter of Bend, Oregon.
