Avory Raffety

Avory James Raffety, the son of Tiffany Larson and Zachary Raffety was born July 18, 2009 in Sioux Falls, S.D. He came early and determined weighing in at 3.13 pounds and growing to 10.6 pounds. He was kept in the hospital for 6 weeks before coming to is home in Ortonville, MN. Avory was baptized in the hospital on July 31, 2009, by Pastor Raymond Smith.
His mother noticed at birth the familiarities of his grandpa DeWayne Larson and a fondness he had towards his grandpa in his short life.
Avory listened to everything that was said around him. He loved to be read to, having his hair brushed, watching his older sister Maria and his blue and white puppy that Maria gave him. He loved cuddling with his mother, his head under her chin, against her chest. Things he didn’t like so much was his bath, never liked being laid flat, he would rather be propped up a little so he could see what was going on around him. .
At two and a half months he rolled from his tummy to his back. While he clutched his toy. He always wanted his bottle when the smell of food was in the house weather he had eaten earlier or not.
Avory left this world October 30, 2009 to his new home in heaven. He will be missed by all of those who loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Tiffany Larson of Ortonville, MN; father, Zachary Raffety of Ortonville, MN; sister, Maria; grandparents, Gloria and DeWayne Larson of Odessa, MN, Colin Raffety of Ortonville, MN; great-grandparents, Norman and Valborg Larson of Bellingham, MN, Marlys Longhenry of Ortonville, MN, Rita and Richard Raffety of Ortonville, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Ervin Longhenry.
