Audrey Trump

Audrey Trump of Milbank, SD, formerly of Ortonville, MN, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 90 years, 11 months, and two weeks.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 14, 2025, at the United Congregational Church of Christ beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lynn Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before at the church. Interment will follow at the Mound Cemetery in Ortonville.

Audrey Ann (Bisping) Trump was born on March 28, 1934, to Albert and Agnes (DeCoux) Bisping in Faribault, MN. She graduated from Faribault Senior High in 1952.

On April 7, 1953, she was united in marriage to Ernest Trump. They resided in Faribault until July of 1976 when they moved to Ortonville and purchased the Lagoona Beach Resort.

Audrey was a stay-at-home mom until her children all left home at which time she worked at Northridge Care Facility until her retirement. She then became the primary caretaker for her mother and father until their deaths. Following this she continued in caretaker mode doing twelve years of daycare for Rachel Mork, who became a good friend.

Audrey traveled extensively in her younger years having visited all 50 states as well as Mexico and Canada. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, playing cards, doing jigsaw puzzles, and cheering on the Vikings and Timberwolves.

Audrey is survived by daughter, Barb (Dan) Turek of Montgomery, MN; and their children: Crystal (Adam) Smisek and Travis (Jenny) Turek; son, Jim (Patty) of Johnstown, CO; and their children: JR (Jenny) Trump, Jeremy (Nicole) Trump, Nick (Jamie) Sosa, and Brianna (Justin Peterson) Sosa; and daughter, Brenda (Mark) Hoffman of Rosen, MN; and their children: Craig (Kayla) Mork and Darren (Karina) Mork; grandsons: Josh Trump and Brandon Trump; 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Chuck Nelson; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Art and Marlys Frounfelter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie; son, Jeff; her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor & Bob Hickey; sister, Shirley Nelson; sisters and brothers-in-law: Herman and Eileen Trump, Bob and Jeannie Trump, and Marie and Harlen Wente; nieces; and nephews.
