Arlo Andrews

Arlo Andrews, age 83 of Graceville, MN died June 8, 2017, in St. Cloud, MN.

Services will be held on Monday, June 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Johnson, MN. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville.

Arlo Andrews was born on February 4, 1934, to Annie and Bill Andrews on the family farm north of Johnson. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Johnson. Arlo attended Graceville High School, where he loved to play football, and graduated in 1952.

Arlo married Phyllis Nelson on September 10, 1955. They were blessed with three children - Scott, Pamela, and Mark. He was a lifelong farmer and he enjoyed helping where he could, even after he moved to Graceville. Arlo liked planting a patch of sweetcorn, which he shared with many.
He enjoyed visiting, playing cards, checking crops, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arlo is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Scott (Karen) Andrews, Pamela (Brett) Welker, Mark (Patty) Andrews, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Al Bennett; his sisters-in-law, Delores Andrews, Jeanne Andrews, and Dawn Andrews; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and six sisters.
