Annie Marie Jipson, age 81, of Graceville, passed away on December 29, 2020, at Essentia Health-Grace Home in Graceville.

Visitation for Annie Jipson will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville. A private family memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will be livestreamed and recorded and can be viewed on the Mundwiler Funeral Home website.

While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is required. For those who prefer or require continued precautions, webcasting and/or livestreaming can be viewed at www.mundwilerfuneralhome.net.

Annie Marie Doll was born on December 31, 1938, in Dumont, MN, to Theodor and Christine (Schmitz) Doll. Annie’s mother passed away when she was an infant, and she was raised by her aunt, Gertrude Schmitz. She grew up and attended school in Dumont. At age 18, Annie moved to live in Breckenridge, MN, and worked at the Wahpeton Hospital in the central supply room. Annie married the love of her life, Jerry Jipson, on September 26, 1959, in Dumont. Annie and Jerry lived on a farm near Herman, MN, and then moved to a farm near Collis, MN, where they raised their five children. Annie and Jerry moved into Graceville in 2012.

Annie was a busy farm wife and had many jobs, but her most important role was mother, and grandma. She was a longtime, active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Collis, where she taught Catechism. Annie enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and playing cards. She loved to entertain family and friends. She and Jerry were well known for their fancy dancing and roller-skating steps.

Annie is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, of Graceville, MN; daughters: Deb (Dan) Walters of Graceville, MN; Jane (Steve) O’Connor of Moorhead, MN; Kay (Don) Litch of Moorhead, MN;  Lori (Randy) Fehr of Morris, MN; grandchildren: Tyler (Brittany), Meghan (Chris), Danica (Tyler), Jessica, GeorgAnn (Luke), Dustin, Kaylee, Tara (Matthew), Kaitlin, Risa (Jaydon), Landon, Cassidy, Billy, Patrick; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Cali, Camden, Clayton, Colton, Emmie, Ryker, Paislee, Parker, Kycie, Teagan, Rhett, Kinlie; sisters: Bernice Bohnenstingl, Joanne Canady; brother, Theodore Doll; sisters-in-law: Donna Doll, Donna Jipson; brothers-in-law: Dennis (Dee) Jipson, Glen Jerpseth, Roger Boehning; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mothers and father; son, Steven Jipson; 11 siblings; father-in-law Ralph Jipson, mother-in-law Belva Jipson; many brothers-in-law and sisters -in law.
